What is Eco-Friendly Kraft Paper Tape?

Our GFB072 kraft paper tape is a plastic-free packaging tape made from natural kraft paper substrate and hot-melt adhesive. Unlike traditional OPP/PVC packing tape which contains plastic films and chemical plasticizers, our tape uses only paper and adhesive — making it fully recyclable with cardboard waste streams and compliant with EU REACH (253 SVHC substances all non-detected) and RoHS directives.

Technical Specifications Explained

Peel strength (17.4 N/25mm): Measures the force required to peel the tape off a surface. At 17.4 N/25mm, our tape provides strong initial adhesion suitable for sealing heavy shipping cartons. For reference, standard BOPP tape typically ranges 6-10 N/25mm.

Holding power (500+ min): The time in minutes that the tape can hold a 1kg weight before sliding. 500+ minutes means the tape will hold firmly on vertical surfaces for over 8 hours, ideal for long-distance shipping.

Tensile strength (55.5 N/15mm): The force needed to break the tape by pulling. At 55.5 N/15mm, the tape resists tearing during transit and handling, reducing the risk of carton opening during transport.

Available Widths and Sizes

We offer jumbo rolls up to 1200mm width for converting operations, as well as custom-cut widths from 5mm to 1200mm. Standard machine-grade and hand-grade rolls are available in 5cm, 5.5cm, and 7cm widths with 40m, 50m, and 200m lengths. Custom roll sizes can be produced to meet your specific requirements.
