1. Intended use and carton details
State whether the tape is intended for standard carton sealing, branded packaging or another application. Where available, include the carton type, whether the surface is coated or printed, the approximate packed weight and any conditions that deserve particular attention.
If a complete carton specification is not yet available, carton photographs and basic information about the current tape can still help the initial discussion. Final selection should be based on samples evaluated with the actual carton and intended conditions.
2. Manual or machine application
Explain whether the tape will be applied by hand or with case-sealing equipment. For machine application, include the equipment model, permitted core and outside-diameter range, and any current feeding, cutting or roll-change issue.
This information helps narrow the candidates. It does not mean that a tape can replace the existing product without confirmation.
3. Required dimensions and purchasing quantity
Identify the tape width, length per roll, core requirement, packing requirement and expected order quantity. If the dimensions are not final, provide the current specification and the issue you want to improve before discussing samples.
When comparing quotations, make sure the pricing unit and packing basis are aligned. Price per roll alone may hide differences in roll length, carton quantity or order terms.
4. Exact model or problem to solve
For a Guangfeng Packaging GFB702A enquiry, state the model clearly and request that the specification, sample and relevant documents all correspond to that model. Another model or a generic marketing sheet should not be substituted.
If no model has been selected, describe the current issue, such as edge lifting, open carton seams, equipment compatibility or an appearance requirement. The supplier can then suggest candidates, but suitability should still be decided from agreed samples and trial records.
5. Custom-printing requirements
For a printed-tape enquiry, initially provide the wording, logo file, intended colours, tape width and the general appearance required. The feasible option, sample version, colour approval and production terms should be confirmed separately in writing.
A screen mock-up can support discussion but cannot replace approval of the final physical sample. This article does not describe any Guangfeng Packaging print-sampling workflow that has not yet been confirmed by the responsible manager.
6. Documents and delivery information required
List the documents needed by the buyer or customer, such as the product specification, model-specific test documents and packing information. Also provide the destination and requested trade terms. For testing or regulatory wording, check the product, laboratory, test items and scope stated in each document; do not extend an individual report into a conclusion about the complete packaging system.
Guangfeng Packaging uses the label “PPWR Ready”. Buyers should still identify the documents required for their own product, packaging structure and market. Price, minimum order quantity, lead time and shipping arrangements remain subject to written confirmation for the particular enquiry.
